Free Market Economic Leaders Launch New Ad Campaign Exposing Liberals for Being in Cahoots with Big Health Insurers as Premiums and Out-of-Pocket Costs Spike
Most Favored Patient project’s paid media initiative launched following Democrats defending health insurance cartels when Congress called CEOs in for questioning to address skyrocketing costs
Washington, D.C. — February 17, 2026 — The Most Favored Patient (MFP) initiative launched a new paid media campaign featuring a 30-second ad that exposes the nefarious relationship between liberals and major insurance companies and how that alliance has allowed anticompetitive, self-serving practices to persist unchecked.
The ad will air throughout the Washington, D.C. area to ensure the message reaches policymakers, influencers, and key decision-makers shaping the national health care debate.
“Democrats in Congress are in bed with corporate health insurance giants that exercise largely unchecked control over America’s health care system, driving up costs for patients across the country,” said Phil Kerpen, MFP co-chair and co-founder of Unleash Prosperity Now. “President Trump is working to hold these conglomerates—and their allies—accountable and create real choice and competition for patients. The Most Favored Patient initiative supports President Trump’s efforts and will continue to expose corruption and anticompetitive behavior in the health care marketplace.”
The new ad is part of MFP’s ongoing effort to hold big insurers accountable for driving up deductibles, copays, premiums, and health care costs.
The MFP initiative, a project of Unleash Prosperity Now, is led by free market leaders Stephen Moore, Steve Forbes, Tomas Phillipson, and Phil Kerpen. The effort seeks to expand and build upon many of the reforms being advanced by President Donald Trump and other leaders in Congress.
